Tell us the story of your business? Who are the people behind your business, what makes you proud to be a business owner?

“We are everything that a community pharmacy should be, offering a huge range of health services to the Barossa Valley from vaccinations, health and medication checks and sleep apnoea management to name a few!

“Our team comprises locally employed staff ranging from after school juniors right through to employees who have been with the business 20 years.

“We are incredibly proud of our team, who bring a passion to work each and every day to look after their community, without these people our team wouldn’t be where it is today.”

In your opinion, why is it important now more than ever for locals to shop in the Barossa?

“Shopping locally is hugely important to country community and towns, not only to ensure those services are still available for everyone but also to keep the connections between people.”

How does your business benefit the community?

“Our pharmacy is open for our community five and a half days a week, offering a range of health services, but more importantly, our staff are there to look after the people and their health.”

What do you pride yourself on? What separates your business from all of the others?

“What we believe makes us stand out from other businesses is our customer service and community engagement. We are sponsors of many local clubs and each year, along with other businesses, bring the ‘Santa’s Trail’ to Angaston’s main street.”

What services do you offer to encourage customer loyalty?

“We have a TerryWhite Chemmart loyalty system free to customers where they can gain points that can be redeemed in store, we also have our MyTWC app which customers can download to their phone to store and order their prescriptions, shop online, book a health service and so much more!”

What is the single biggest challenge that your business faces today?

“For pharmacy it would have to be the government implementing the 60-day dispensing, it does have a big impact not only on stores but the patients, as they are receiving so (many) more medications all at once, leading in some cases to misuse, misunderstanding, or wastage due to medication changes.”

What specials do you currently have available?

“Our store has three weekly catalogue specials and continually runs local instore promotions when new ranges and items arrive!”
