Bill Close was inaugurated as Light Regional Council's new Mayor at the Kapunda Council Chambers on Tuesday afternoon.
Mayor Close narrowly beat out his competitors in the recent Supplementary Election following the retirement of Mayor Bill O'Brien earlier this year.
Michael Phillips-Ryder will serve as deputy Mayor.
