Crowds gathered across the Barossa Valley last Wednesday to witness Stage 1 of the Tour Down Under, a 120.6-kilometre circuit starting and finishing at Tanunda, with Danish rider Tobias Lund Andresen claiming the stage win while also taking the ochre leader’s jersey.
