Gawler Central's Hugo Semmler has been named as the MVP for South Australia in the Under 16s tournament after a best on ground performance in a Game 3 loss to Victoria Metro.
The ruckman was recognised for his work at stoppage and centre clearance, and was also named among the best in the Game 2 victory over Victoria County.
Hugo spoke with The Leader and said that the award had come as a shock.
