Cheers for advertising win

The Leader is proud to announce it has been awarded Best Advertisement in Australia at the Country Press Australia Annual Awards held on Friday, October 24 at Yarrawonga, Victoria.

"This recognition is a true team achievement," said Darren Robinson, Director of Advertising Sales and Marketing.

"We're incredibly fortunate to have such talented staff who bring creative ideas to life and deliver an exceptional print result every time."

He also thanked Josh Helbig, owner of Rehn Bier, "for trusting us with a bold, full-page creative concept that truly stood out."

This particular ad was first named Best Advertisement in South Australia at the Country Press SA Awards in February, before going on to compete nationally against winners from Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.

"To now receive the national title is an incredible honour and one we're extremely proud of," Darren shared.

Designer and photo journalist, Matt Webster, worked with Darren on the campaign.

"It's fantastic to be a part of a creative team that is able to effectively communicate the voice of our community and advertisers," Matt said. "And now to be recognised on a national level like this, really highlights the thought and consideration that goes on behind the scenes."
