Celebration for Turner’s Butcher’s Van

A good attendance of people from various parts of South Australia attended the 100 year celebration of the Turner's Butcher's Van, a 1925 Dodge Buckboard, when Angaston & Penrice Historical Society held a special cake cutting with speeches at Angaston Village Green on Sunday. The Angaston and Penrice Historical Society (APHS) celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Turner's Butcher's van on Sunday with a public showing of the vehicle on the Village Green.

The 1925 Dodge has become an iconic part of Angaston's history and APHS President Rebecca Bolton said she heard from many people how they were glad the van had been able to stay in its hometown.
