Director of Advertising Sales and Marketing at The Leader, Darren Robinson, explained that this year, "Rather than offering a single cash prize this year, we've made the decision to invest those funds back into promoting the Passport and the participating businesses.

The promotion has been refined to a four-week campaign this year, which gives shoppers a full month to redeem offers while creating a clear timeline to ensure they don't miss out.

"The response from participating businesses continues to be incredibly encouraging," Darren said.

"Many tell us the Passport introduces them to new customers who may have not visited before, and that's exactly what this promotion is designed to achieve."

At a time when getting behind local businesses is again in the spotlight, the Passport provides a tangible way to show that support and take advantage of some savings at the same time.

It's a win-win situation.

Darren is pleased to report that while many of the 2025 businesses are back in the Passport again, there's also some new names to promote.
