June 7 will mark 100 years since the grand opening of the Nuriootpa Soldiers’ Memorial Hall, which stands as a tribute to returned servicemen following the end of World War I.
The Hall was officially opened in 1925, following years of community fundraising, and has since hosted everything from dances and cinema screenings to meetings and the first vintage festival.
