Tanunda Town Day kicks off on Thursday April 20 during the Barossa Vintage Festival, with the suggested itinerary commencing with a stroll down Murray Street, Tanunda.
Grab yourself a coffee from one of Tanunda’s many cafes, as you make your way to Goat Square for the locally loved and notoriously boisterous, ‘Ziegenmarkt’ or ‘Goat Market’.
Enjoy the sights as you witness auction bids at this 1800’s style live market auction. See Page 18 for a story on this dynamic event.
As the excitement of the auction winds down late morning, walk to the Barossa Vintage Festival Hub, located on the front lawn of the Barossa Visitors Centre. It is here that you can buy bespoke, artisan products and produce at Barossa Made Market.
Around the corner, an art exhibition is just a three-minute walk away at the Barossa Regional Gallery, with 70+ entries on display for the Barossa Vintage Festival Art Prize.
The town square space will be offering a wine bar to relax in, live entertainment, a box office, and an opportunity to enquire about any event information through the Barossa Visitors Centre throughout the entire festival.
