Barossa prepares for Christmas glow-up
As the countdown to Christmas starts in earnest, now is the perfect time to start planning for the winning Christmas light display for this year's Barossa Co-op Light the Night competition.
Barossa Co-op home business leader Stuart Jenkins said as more elaborate displays can take more time to set up it's best to get to work early.
Demand for lights has already sparked, with Barossa Mitre 10 having already sold out of one full display according to Stuart.
"It's great to see the community getting involved," he said.
Thanks to a large selection of decorations available, including candy canes, blow up Santas and the classic fairy lights, locals can set up their perfect Christmas scene with options to suit all budgets.
"Whatever your vision is for your Christmas decorations we can help out," Stuart said.
Registrations for Light the Night will close on November 26, with those interested in participating encouraged to sign up ahead.
Maps featuring all registered addresses will be available in the December 3 edition of The Leader, with voting to commence in early December.
Winners will be announced in The Leader’s December 24 edition.
