As flu season approaches, it comes as a welcome announcement that community pharmacists will now be able to provide free off-site flu vaccinations in residential aged care and disability homes, as of Monday April 29, under the National Immunisation Program Vaccinations in Pharmacy (NIPVIP) Program.

Reported cases of the flu to date in Australia are 40 per cent higher than
