Originally known as the Cambrai Football Club, the club was formed in 1909.
In the 1920s it won three premierships, then later changed its name to Sedan Cambrai Football Club, winning a premiership for the Club in 1966.
Towards the end of the '70s and well into the mid '80s the Club was run in maintenance mode.
