Angaston hosted Nuriootpa in what was the eighth time the two clubs had met on Anzac Day, with Angaston winning three of the previous seven and two of them at Angaston, but they could not add to the tally on Thursday.
Nuriootpa’s win gave them bragging rights on Anzac Day, having now won the past three matches.
