Williamstown is among 10 CFS brigades which will receive a new $520,000 rescue truck, with the fleet of 24P multi-purpose dual-cab urban fire and rescue trucks, valued at $5.2m in total, replacing aged equipment.
As part of the CFS' capital expenditure program, the last of the agency's 24 and 34 single-cab trucks have also been retired from operational service.
