At Monday night's Ordinary Council Meeting, the Town of Gawler formally endorsed Cr Nathan Shanks as Acting Mayor, following the recent resignation of long-serving Mayor Karen Redman.
Cr Shanks has been fulfilling the role in an interim capacity since March, when Mayor Redman commenced a leave of absence.
