Secretary of Barossa Wildlife Rescue Chelsea Linke is asking drivers to slow down following an increase in callouts following on-road collisions with kangaroos.
Chelsea said that current drought conditions are contributing to kangaroos coming closer to built up areas and that drivers need to remain alert on the road, particularly at dawn and dusk when kangaroos are more active.
