Greenock residents awoke to a towering plume of water on Sunday morning, following a water main break on Adelaide Road.
According to an SA Water spokesperson, the incident was reported at approximately 8.30am, with a field technician arriving on site in just over an hour to begin turning the water off to the pipe.
Repairs to the water main were completed around 1.30pm that afternoon.
