The long-awaited Truro bypass may be a step closer to becoming reality, following last week’s State Budget commitment of $125 million towards Stage 1 of the High Productivity Vehicle Network.
The State is committing the funding on an 80:20 basis in partnership with the Commonwealth Government, which pledged $525 million earlier this year, creating a joint kitty of $650 million for the project.
