After nearly two years of planning and discussions, the Freeling RSL has officially been given permission to operate from the Freeling Institute, providing a permanent and visible home in the community.
Speaking to The Leader, Freeling RSL President, Matt Verco, said the move is a significant step forward for the local branch, which has not had a dedicated location in the township for many years.
