The sparkling drinks were flowing as fancy-dressed followers of the Melbourne Cup watched Half Yours,trained by former Angaston-based horse trainer Tony McEvoy and son Calvin, and Mount Pleasant-raised jockey Jamie Melham (neƩ Kah) storm to victory yesterday.

Jamie made history as the first female jockey to achieve the Caulfield-Melbourne Cup double.
