A Vale to vines: Vine Vale grower among latest to pull vines in “brutal” downturn
First generation professional winegrape grower, Sam Dahlitz, has for more than 30 years yielded Shiraz and Merlot, but with an industry in the throes of a "brutal" downturn, Sam felt he had little choice left other than to cut his losses, and raze it to the ground.
